Peter Carter is a UK photographer based in the Southwest of England. His photographic oeuvre includes the diverse genres of street photography, environmental portraiture, documentary, dance, and the performing arts. He studied photography at the, now, University of Portsmouth, Bridgwater & Taunton College, and the University of the Creative Arts, London.
His work has been exhibited in solo shows at the Brewhouse Theatre and Strode College amongst others, and in shows at venues across the Southwest and South Wales.
Additionally, his dance images have been published both in the UK and internationally. He is an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society and in 2017 founded the Somerset Monochrome Group of photographers.
