Andrew Powell-Thomas
Andrew Powell-Thomas is a Somerset based author and historian who writes military history, local heritage and children’s fiction books. He is the editor of ‘Over the Top’, the children’s magazine associated with the Great War Group; has appeared on various local radio programmes; and has done Television work for the Yesterday Channel.
A former primary school teacher for twenty years, he has a passion for educating, and he provides school visits on a number of subjects from poetry & writing to remembrance, right across the country.
His enthusiastic and engaging personality makes him a very popular speaker for adult education groups right across the West Country.
